Makeup I Am Loving

Some of these pieces are slightly pricey but my post next week will be tailored to those who are looking for something slightly cheaper and for those who are new to makeup...

Bare Minerals Original SPF 15 Mineral Foundation £26
I absolutely love this foundation, I have unfortunately been blessed with quite oily skin and so have always struggled to find a foundation that will stay on my skin until I tried this powder foundation. Yes it is slightly pricey but it is definitely worth it as it lasts for ages, I have probably had it for 9 or 10 months now and it still looks brand new. This foundation gives good coverage yet it still looks natural and has a lid with small holes in it which stops you from making a mess all over the carpet.

Max Factor False Lash Effect Waterproof Mascara £10.99
I swear by this mascara, I love the full 'oversized' brush and for someone with eyes that water all throughout the winter I can guarantee that this is smudge free, even when I go into the shower it mostly all stays on. It is very easy to choose just how thick you want your lashes to be and it is easy to apply, I have now brought this product 3 or 4 times since first discovering it.

Urban Decay Naked 3 Eyeshadow Palette £38
Again in a similar way to Bare Minerals, Urban Decay is up there with the expensive products however I adore their palettes and am saving and trying to find a way to justify buying the other 3. The colours are stunning and they have lots of pigment, the palette itself looks amazing sat in your makeup bag and comes with a large mirror in the lid of it and the brush included has a flat end and a blending brush on the other end...It is definitely worth forking out for.

Bourjois Khol and Contour Eyepencil £4.99
This eye pencil is great, it smudges really nicely and is very affordable.

KIKO Soft Touch Blush £7.50
I love KIKO as a brand, they are extremely affordable and always have sales on, this blush is priced at £7.50 but I believe I purchased it for £3.50. I have it in the shade 109 which is a nice natural looking tone and it lasts quite well throughout the day.

KIKO Cream Crush Lasting Colour Eyeshadow £6.90
This eyeshadow cream applies really well and is great for blending with powdered eyeshadow without looking creased on the eyelid which is a problem I have found with MAC's eyeshadow cream in the past which I believe is down to my oily skin. I love to use it as a base and then apply golden tones on-top.

Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder £3.99 - Transparent
This is a brilliant powder to use in order to hold everything in place. Because of my skin tone I use it even if I am only applying concealer simply to mattify (is that even a word?) my face and again this product is only £3.99.

Bourjois Delice de Poudre Bronzing Powder £7.99
I am very new to the scene of bronzing powder, the first one I purchased was bright orange however this particular bronzer gives your skin a natural glow and blends in very nicely. It also looks like a bar of chocolate, next to the highlighter which I have never used besides when I wanted to try and make my skin look pale for halloween.

Maybelline Fit Me Concealer £5.99
This concealer is great and a number of my friends also use it. By applying just a few small dots with the wand it gives great coverage for all those nasties that you don't want showing.

As far as lipstick goes, I am still experimenting with it and currently only use the KIKO lipsticks when they are on sale
